If you have a toddler you need some of these lacing cards! They're perfect for keeping little hands busy during church, in waiting rooms, etc. Definitely a great busy bag item!
And since Anne made them herself she loves them even more :)
Lacing cards are wonderful for working on those fine motor skills and making your own set is a great way to set your little one's creativity loose! We're a
little ok a lot into sewing around here so we went with a sewing theme and did a set of little dresses. But you could do animals, trucks, cartoon characters, etc. Sky is the limit!
Here's what you'll need:
Printed out clip art
Colored pencils, crayons, etc.
String/yarn for lacing
Laminator or contact paper
1. Let your little artist decorate all of the cards
2. Laminate them for extra durability. Anne also thought this part was super awesome! If you don't have a laminator you can sandwich the pieces between 2 layers of clear contact paper.
3. Cut each piece out and then use your hole pucher to go around the perimeter
And that's it! Now get busy lacing...or as Anne says "sewing" :)
I hope you love them!
