Personalized Nativity Advent

Can you believe it's almost December already??? Get ready to count down to Christmas with a personalized advent calendar!

My sister made this for my little brother who is on a 2 year mission in Brazil and I loved it so much that she's letting me share the idea with all of you :)

If you already have pictures of your family acting out the nativity that you could use those or you could get creative with photoshop like my sister did. Put up one piece each day until Christmas!

For the manger she used a photo of our family's cabin and the family dog filled in for a few of the animals

My parents got to be Mary and Joseph. Do you recognize the angel and baby Jesus?

The 3 sisters got to be shepherds. I'm on the left :)

The boys got to be wisemen

 And just to make my little brother's day he gets to be a man carrying eggs. When he was little he always swapped out the "egg lady" in our nativity set with Mary and insisted that's how it should be set up :)

Believe it or not sometimes I have time to sew for my own kids!

Today I have a peek at my handsome little man in his new Little Gentleman Suit Jacket

I had so much fun trying this out in a more casual look complete with a bit of fun plaid peeking out of the welt pockets :) He's a bit of a a chunk so I made him the 12 mos. (he's 7 mos.) and he hasn't quite grown into it yet but I love the rolled sleeves so it was a win all around!
