You Dream It & I'll Make It!

Have something you've been dying to make???
But don't want to go to the trouble of figuring it out???
Now's your golden opportunity!

Here's the rundown:
  1. Entries are open August 21-22nd
  2. Link up a blog post with a photo of your dream design
  3. The design can be something you've sketched or a product in the store (***For actual products the pattern design will simply be inspired by the idea not a replica. Do NOT link up images from other pattern designers or bloggers)
  4. I will narrow things down to my 5 Favorites and then voting will be open all day August 23rd
  5. You vote on the design, I make it happen, and then the pattern will be available for all of you for FREE!
Yup that's right! You are going to help me dream up the next design for the pattern shop and then it will be available for FREE as a thank you to all of my fantastic readers and customers!
***update: if you don't have a blog leave a comment with your idea/link***

  3. I love this idea! I have been wanting to try to recreate this dress for a while, but I know my beginner skills aren't really up to the challenge.

  4. Are we allowed more than one entry? If so, here's another from my I-wish-I-could list!

  6. I've always wanted a circle skirt or a-line panel skirt with pockets. I've seen them with side seam pockets (that is even VERY rare), but I kind of like the idea of the pockets being on the outside so that the skirt is a casual knit, with a nice wide band and cute pockets. Something like these shorts, but in a skirt.

I love skirts that have a fairy bottom too:

Something like that with POCKETS up near the top...with enough layers? or heavy enough knit so that it didn't have to be lined!

Fun idea! Hope to see a great pattern out of it.

  7. I would LOVE a one piece swimsuit dress for my girls, and it would be sooo awesome if it had snaps at the bottom for easy potty trips!

    1. Just a reminder: I will not make a pattern based off of another designers hard work. Those are darling patterns and you should hustle over to Lily Bird and buy a copy :) See Rule #3

    2. I am sorry, I didn't mean you to steal someone else work!
I deleted, I think it's the best way by me so say again that I am really sorry.

it wasn't my intention to do what I did, sorry, sorry, sorry
