#1 Rain Jacket & Dress
Amanda from Simply Homemade

For some reason this week was really hard for me, all I could think of for the longest time was flowers. Not that flowers are bad I just wasn't having any profound ideas concerning them. At some point a few days ago that silly little poem popped into my brain: April showers bring May flowers. Yes!!! Rain! Spring is rainy! Living in the South, we get our fair share of rain come this time of year. So I made a rain jacket!
I used clear vinyl to create the jacket (which by the way is a beast to work with). I knew that sewing directly on the vinyl would be awful so I made up some bias binding and sandwiched the jacket seams in it instead. Of course I had to make a spring dress to coordinate with the binding. I went super simple, with buttons down the back and a cute peter pan collar. It has a very 1960's feel which I love.  Miss M is pleased to get another dress out of the deal too!

I love the binding she made on this jacket.  Very cute.  And that she added the flower to go with the whole 'April Showers bring May Flowers' - perfect!  Super cute.

I would be praying for rain everyday! This has got to be the CUTEST rain coat I've ever seen. I love the matching dress! Too cute!! Miss M is a doll!

#1- Rain Jacket
I love this idea!!!  It's prefect for the rainy days ahead and I just love that she made a dress to make.  So much fun!

#2 Spring Flowers
Melissa from Melly Sews

Apparently I only thought I was under pressure last week - how can I top winning two weeks in a row? Well, here's my best effort for spring - my Spring Flowers belt and dress. I made the three leather flowers and several leaves to embellish the simple leather belt I picked up at the thrift store, then paired it with this dress I sewed. The fabric is a pretty fresh green with white floral embroidery all over it, and I designed it shirtwaist style with a princess seamed flared skirt and banded puff sleeves. Come on over to my blog to check out more pictures!

Ummm...Wow Melissa - this is amazing.  I am in love with that belt!!!  Just incredible, and you made that dress?! Wow.

Okay, do you sell those flowers?! This is an adorable idea for a belt. Great job on the dress too, I love the pattern on it.

This belt is great!!!  I love the color and it's a prefect accessory for any outfit.

#3 Front Door Wreath and Drawer Planter
I'm a little overwhelmed, but super excited to be here in Round 3!  For this challenge I chose to decorate our front step to brighten it up a little.  I painted our doormat (um, still don't know if this one will be practical :) made a planter out of an old drawer (from a camper trailer!) and some old fence boards, and filled it will flowers.  My favorite piece is actually the coffee filter-flower wreath (it's a little different than the regular filter ones you see).  Come on over to my blog for more details on how I made everything--Thanks!
Here is the HTML for my project (Reclaimed Wood Tabletop and Spring Porch Makeover):

I am in love with that drawer planter - I love the recycle!  And that striped doormat is so cute!  Your front entrance looks fantastic.
First of all, I am in love with the painted mat the most! The drawer planter is something that I would like to make for my own house. All of these little elements really dress up the front porch. Great job!

I love the transformation of the porch.  I love the colors and the idea of using a drawer for a planter is genius!

#4 Porch Makeover
Emily from 52 Mantels
On Monday, I was completely stumped for this round of America Crafter, but then (lucky me!) my neighbors threw out 2 6-foot sections of fencing, which got me started on this Springy back porch makeover! Inspired by this reclaimed wood table from Restoration Hardware, I decided to turn my drab, too-small porch table into a longer, wood-topped table. Using the remaining wood scraps, I made a cool chalkboard and 3 hanging, mason-jar vases. When I paired those with a couple more easy art projects, I had myself a spruced up back porch...just in time for Spring in Texas!! See more details at 52 Mantels!

Oh.  my.  gosh.  This is amazing!  I am in love with how this turned out!  I want that porch!  the colors are fantastic, and I love the wall decor.  And that table?  I love it all!!!  Incredible.  Lucky you indeed!

Oh, this brings back great memories of my patio makeover that I did for AC. So fun!! I adore that table!! I love the pops of yellow everywhere! Definetly my favorite entry this week!

I love what she did with the table!  It's looks fabulous!  And the mason jars is such a great idea!

#5 Spring Planter
This week we finally got some "spring-like" weather in Idaho {45 degrees & sunny} so I decided to pull out the spray paint and re-finish this old chair that's been collecting dust. I transformed this $5 thrift store find into a planter for my front porch! I chose a bright, happy color to contrast the orange gerbera daisy plant-- I love how they pop out against the blue :)
Since this won't really be a functioning chair, I went a little crazy and recovered the seat in MOSS instead of fabric. The hole in the center creates the perfect spot for my potted plant and a way for it to drain. I love how it brightens up the front of our house {and that little butterfly just makes me smile!} Check out our blog for more pictures and details. Happy Spring everyone!

How inventive!  A planter made from a chair, I would have never thought of doing that.  This came out really cute.  Loving the colors.

I have always wanted to make one of these chair planters! This has inspired me to get mine going!! The moss is a great addition to the seat and I LOVE that blue paint color! Great job!

What a fun idea!!  I love the bright blue and the moss!

#6 Pallet Lemonade Stand

Hey Guys! I'm Jill, from I Know the Plans I Have for You!  It's week 3 and I can't believe I'm still here!! For the "Spring" week I decided to do a lemonade stand. As soon as the weather turned nice, the first thing the kids were out doing was selling lemonade! I had some pallets that I was planning to use on a different project, but I thought they would be perfect for this! I took the pallets apart and painted them with a white wash, then stained them Walnut. I made the puffs with coffee filters, and the banner with dropcloth and scrapbook paper, and attached it with twine.  I designed some of the printables myself and the others I printed on line (you can see from where on my blog!). I hope you enjoy it, I know the kids are going to love it!! If you like to see more, head over to I Know the Plans I Have for You! Hope to see you next week for the finale week!

I adore how this lemonade stand came out.  The way you wrote 'lemonade' on the top, totally reminds me of the Peanuts - and who doesn't love them some Snoopy?  This is super cute.  I love it.

Jill, I want this lemonade stand at my house! I LOVE that you used pallets to create this. Cause I might be addicted to pallets right now! ;) I can see lots of lemonade in your future!

This one in my favorite!!  This is such a cute stand!  My kids would go crazy for this!  I just love everything about it!
