End Table Makeover

I love having a pop of color in our apartment! So when I found this beat-up end table on the classifieds for a couple bucks I snatched it up right away with plans to paint it red

Turns out it's nearly impossible to get a good shot of it since our front room doesn't get much (or any) natural light, but you get the idea:) And I'll admit it never looks like this- it's generally covered in magazines, crayons, my seam ripper, and TV remotes. But...it's nice to pretend every so often right???

To fix it up the 1st issues was this damaged corner. I filled it in with wood putty

And then the hubs came and fixed it:) And filled in a few more spots. Sand it down until it's nice and even

prime, prime, prime! It will make your life lots easier

And then paint away!

Nothing too impressive, but since it is Hardware Store week for American Crafter I gave it my best:) Prepare to be blown away by 15 projects on Friday!
