Merry Christmas Eve!
This week's giveaway is brought to us by...
Incomparable Buttons is giving away 10 sets of Chicken Buttons valued at $100!
Giveaway is open to anyone anywhere in the world and runs until December 30th
Seriously- how cute are these???
Incomparable is a South African company that produces handmade and painted, fully washable buttons.
The company was founded in the early eighties by Jennifer Pascall working around her kitchen table long into the night perfecting the formula for creating durable, fully washable buttons. It now operates from a separate premises, exporting beautiful buttons all over the world.
Jennifer's main goal these days (apart from creating gorgeous buttons for you to sigh over) is to uplift previously disadvantaged women in the community and provide much needed employment and skills. Truly this is a company with a conscience and a cause. Some members of the ButtonMad Team have been working together from the very beginning. Nine of the eleven official South African languages are spoken by the ladies...one big family united by the common thread - being Mad about Buttons!
Each button is lovingly sculpted into creation and given its own unique personality by one of the team of Incomparable women employed by the company.
Each piece is a work of art - if you look closely, you may even be lucky enough to see the artist's fingerprint on the back.
Incomparable produces a wide variety of buttons - anything from birds and bees to teddy bears, flowers, farmyard, the big 5, teeny tiny hearts to two inch butterscotch fashion buttons. The full catalogue is available on ButtonMad.com When looking for a design you are simply spoiled for choice.
Incomparable buttons are perfect for use on all your quilts, needlework, stitch work, knitted jerseys...they're also ideal to add to store bought items - hats, jackets, mittens, sew them onto pockets and cuffs...or replace boring plastic buttons with one of their fun designs and transform a generic item into something truly special.
Fall in love with Incomparable's range of beautiful buttons...they sell and ship worldwide.
As their tagline reads: 'Why settle for plastic?' '

ReplyDeleteOne "fun" tradition I do for my kids in december is to make a lego advent calendar, I buy a l"arger" lego set in november, sit down with the book and the legos and split them up into the steps, then since I have 2 kids, I split the piles into 48 piles and wrap them up, so every day of december they are building on this lego house, and it's done by Christmas Eve (last one tonight!)

These clucky chooks are touching my heart, my own bird had her first eggs this year.
