Just because you're not quite 2 doesn't mean you don't deserve a bit of designer denim. Right???
Ok so if you know me at all you know I would never buy designer anything for me let along a toddler. But...that doesn't mean I don't love the look of it!
When my sister's Citizens (handed down from a friend of course) bit the dust she let me have the fabric scraps- yippee!
I used the original waistband, so it still has all of the belt loops and the tag. Oh and we've been enjoying this little beauty for almost a year now! I love how skirts fit for so long!
See what I mean- we loved it even back in the crawling days!
(oh and yes that means more pictures from back in the crappy camera era- sorry...)
Let's get started!
- Pair of jeans ready to hit the scrap heap
- Seam ripper
- Sewing Machine
1. Unpick the waistband from the jeans and cut 8 skirt panels from the legs.
6. Sew the bottom edge of the belt loops back down and you're done!
Enjoy your new skirt! Perfect of any occasion.
And there she goes...Someone was NOT in the mood for a photoshoot
