Can you believe it's March?! St. Patty's day is right around the corner and little miss doesn't have a speck of green in her closet. Wouldn't want that cutie to get pinched!
Since she's my "lucky charm" I made her this little tee

It's bringing us both great luck already! Well maybe not...

No worries- I rescued her form the toy drawer and she recovered

Ready to make one??
Materials:
- Tee
- Freezer Paper
- Cricut, Silhouette, or razor blade
- Iron
- Fabric Paint
- Green Fabric
- Green embroidery floss
1. Cut out your design. The shiny side needs to be facing down. If you have SCAL you can download the file I designed here. Iron the freezer paper onto the tee with the shiny side down. I'd recommend putting the design a bit higher up than I did- I always forget with a onesie how much is tucked in!
I ironed the clover onto a fabric scrap, but... you could just paint the clover green right now.
2. Fill in the letters with fabric paint. Let it Dry- the worst part of any craft!
3. Cut out your clover using the freezer paper as a guide and then peel away the freezer paper. Stitch to the shirt with the embroidery floss.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

This is really cute! I'm trying to figure out what St Patty's day shirts to make, so thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! And thanks for the download- I totally need to make one of these for each of my girls! I have SCAL and just can't figure out how to design stuff in it- so this is great! :)
