You'll need:
- Orange Felt
- Black Felt
- Green Felt
- Snaps, 1 button, or velcro
- Sewing Machine
3 spooky smiles
2 noses
2 sets of eye brows
3 sets of eyes
2. Now cut out 2 pumpkin pieces, 2 stems, and 1 orange rectangle for the closure. Make a slit in 1 of the pumpkin pieces- it should be big enough to get your face pieces in and out easily, but don't cut it all the way across.
3. Sew the little rectangle on just above your slit (sorry no pic.) and then put your pumpkin pieces right side together and sew all the way around the edge.
4. Turn right side out and sew on your snap, button or velcro. I went with a snap, but anything will work fine.
Finished! Have fun making lots of silly pumpkin faces. With my set of face pieces you make 72 different pumpkins! Don't check my math, but I think that's right:)

No mess - I like it
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute and not too time-intensive! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI've seen this project before and they are always cute. Yours is nicer than the other one I've seen. Looks like a project for children to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteYou made a little pocket for the pieces? That is PERFECT! What a great idea. Thanks for linking up to Theme Party Thursday.
